Pets & Lawn Fertilizer

People use fertilizer to make their lawns and gardens grow healthy and green. We would like to remind you to keep your pet off of the lawn for at least three days, or thoroughly water the lawn and let it dry before letting your pet out. Dogs and cats will eat grass sometimes, and if they eat fertilizer, it could have deadly results. Symptoms of fertilizer poisoning are vomiting and diarrhea and treatment should be sought as soon as possible.

  1. I would stick to not letting your pets and kids going out on the lawn for a couple of days. irrigation is not the best solution,if they did this it would wash away all the fertilizer and they would end up have to pay more money for lawn fertilizer.your lawn needs those nutrients to be healthy.Just keep the pets and kids inside the house.Make sure you don't use liquid,or inorganic fertilizer.Because these spread and work quickly, you need to apply them frequently.Use dry fertilizer it last the longest and it comes in two forms.slow and fast release. This also helps you conserve cash.Visit my site by clicking on my profile. If you don't want to comment you can rate the post if it was funny ,or interesting.Peace !!
